"Cath!C'mon were gonna miss the party."Half shouting at the omega as he thumped at the younger wolfs door, he moved to take the stairs two at a time, barley glancing behind him. Pausing at the door, he frowned, blinking behind him as if expecting Cath to be lingering there in his space like normal.
Frowning,he doubled back toward the other's room, lingering outside of it a moment. Knocking once, twice, before easing the door open to peer around. Of course, there was no sign of the younger wolf, outside of a few things strewn about. Shrugging,he moved to leave, thinking the younger had just been excited and left without him.
~~ It was a week before he noticed the other was missing entirely. Mostly because he was used to thee omega darting off, to huddling in corner's or by himself. Blinking at the empty space where he was sure the younger wolf had been moments ago, he turned his attention to Bry with a confused look. "You haven't seen Cath have you?"He questioned, moving to flop down beside the burlier beta. The other blinked at him, flashing him a weird look. "What?"He questioned, reaching up to rub his face.
"Dude, he hasn't been here all week."The other pointed out. "No way, I just saw him a minute ago.."Had he really not noticed that the younger was gone? It seemed odd. Strange, and the small flutter of wrongness hit him full force. He'd known there was something missing,he just hadn't been able to pinpoint what.
"Maybe he's just being a sour puss, I'll call him and tell him to get his butt down here before he misses the bonfire."Reaching for his phone, he paused when it rang before he could dial a single number. Smirking, he pointed to it, smug. "See that's probably-"He started, grin fading when Bry grabbed the phone out of his hand. "It's your dad, dude."A small 'oh' as he grabbed it, making a face at the older wolf lecturing him about..something. He tuned out long before the other had hung up, tossing the phone down with annoyance. Thankfully, his attention was soon distracted by a few of the other's grabbing him to tug toward the water, all thoughts about the omega disappearing.
~~ "Does it feel like somethings missing?"He questioned, settling into his normal as the small pack fell into easy chatter. A few shrugged, frowning at him as if his question interrupted whatever gossip they'd been in the middle of. It was only half way through lunch when someone questioned where the younger omega had run away, did he sit bolt upright.
"Yeah, where is that dunder head at, I still need to give him a thumping for being wrong about last nights team."One of the other's spoke, grabbing their tray as they drifted past. Reaching, he tugged Bry away from the other's. "I think something's really wrong. Cath never misses school."he muttered, frowning at the floor at the thought. The older wolf made a face, clapping him on the shoulder. "I'm sure it's fine. He can take of himself, dude"
"No, bry. Cath's not like us. He gets tired just running two feet."Of course, it was an exaggeration, but it seemed..wrong without the younger male around. Trying to make friends with the small group, huddling in his space, bothering him. The thought had him frowning a little, though thankfully the other seemed to pick up on the worry and shook his head. "I'll have the guys look around. He's probably just being mopey or something, jeeze."he grumbled, slipping past him.
"Yeah..Yeah, maybe. Then we'll all just thump him for making us worry and shit."
~~ The longer the younger omega was missing, the more frantic with worry he become. While the guys didn't seem all that worried, thoughts of the omega, scared and lost and cold, inched their way into his mind. More so because,if anything, looking after the omega was supposed to be his job,how was he supposed to toss the omega around if he was hurt?
"What if he's lost. Or got tired, and cold, and couldn't figure out how to make a fire.."He rambled, clambering through the woods. Gaze shifting for any sign of the younger wolf, frown deepening with every thought. "Dude,he's probably just at some girls house with hot chocolate." bry pointed out, rolling his eyes, but the small pang of worry wouldn't go away.
"He's scared of girls, you know that."He muttered, ignoring to annoyed sound the other male made before they stumbled out of the woods and back to his front yard. "Well look for him tomorrow, alright? It's late dude."He offered, waving as he took off. Wandering his way up the stairs,he hesitated in front of the door to his room, before turning. Wandering into Cath's and settling on the omega's bed, breathing in his scent.
~~ It had been Bry's idea, more or less. The pair of them cycling through the small neighborhood to ask if any of the other's had seen Cath, or heard from him. Naturally, the sight of the younger omega, stretched out on the couch behind the lankier male had his blood boiling. Charging past, he grabbed at the younger wolf, scowling. "Dude, is this where you've been the entire fucking time?!"He yelled, growling low at the other. Naturally, the younger wolf tried to work out of his iron grip, flailing a bit as he scowled in return.
"Wha' do ye care?"Was the answer, and he couldn't help but bristle a little. "I was worried sick about you, you stupid omega!"He yelled. Expecting the other to dart to his side, or something else, the annoyed growl grew louder at the scoff Cath offered. "Righ'. Likely didn' even know I was missin,ye arse."Cath grumbled, drifting toward the blonde male with a roll of his eyes. "Of course I fucking did!Jesus. Who the fuck is this dude anyway?"He questioned. Turning his gaze,he eye'd the older looking wolf with a small frown.
The attention earned a grin from the taller male, who introduced himself as Felix, before arms wound around the omega, only making him feel ansty and growly at the touch. "C you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend."The other teased, snickering as he watched the other struggled out of Felix's grasp and toward the kitchen. "He's not-"Marc started, only for the taller to drift into his space. "You must be the luckiest son of a bitch. I mean, C's only been here for a days, but.."Trailing off, Marc blinked at him a moment, before he recognized the look in the taller swede's eyes. Hell, he'd given that look to girls before tons of times..
"Cath!Come on, were leaving."He yelled, inching around the older male, and all but dragging the other out, despite the younger's protests."Don' wanna go anywhere with ye!Let go o'me,I 'ate ye!!"Stumbling at the shove Cath offered, he huffed. "Fe was gonna teach me ta figh'."He offered, scowling. "Yeah, I'm sure he was.."Marc grumbled, casting a final glance at the house before making a face. "s'more then ye lot ever did!"The other's protest cut his glare, and he turned his attention back to the younger male, face softening.
"Fuck's that supposed to mean?"He questioned, rounding on the other with a snarl. His tricks, however, didn't seem to phase the younger any and instead Cath drew himself. "Know ye s'all, ye probably didn' know I was missin' til mum asked 'round bout me,didn' ye?"He questioned, shaking his head as if ashamed. "Cath that's not-"He tried, only to be shoved once more. "s'true and ye know it. Ye lot were probably glad I was gone. Ye can jus' go 'ome without me,won't 'ave ta w-worry b-bout...."Trailing off,Marc hesitated, before darting forward a little, arms wrapping the omega and tugging him close. "What the fuck makes you think this shit, dude?"He questioned softly.
The other simply stared at him like he was stupid, and after a moment his forehead creasing, clearly not getting whatever hint or signal the other was trying to give. "Ye really don' 'member?"He questioned softly, seeming to sink into himself.
